Whats in my Make Up Bag!

As I've been doing beauty product reviews I decided now may be a good time to tell you all what regular products I love, that are always in my basic make up routines.

There's a mix of high street, chemist and high end brands, so here are my favourite make up products at the moment:

Foundation:
L'oreal Paris Infallible 24H Foundation - £9.99

This is my absolute favourite brand of foundation. It lasts all day without need for reapplication, and stays matte without looking too cakey. 10/10, adore this product!

Face Primer:
L'oreal Paris Infallible £7.99

Sister product to the Infallible foundation, this primer is amazing. It helps to cover visible pores and mattifies the skin, leaving it ready to apply your foundation over smoothly, and last all day.A little goes a long way, so for £7.99, this product is an absolute bargain, and selected L'oreal make up is 3 for 2 at Boots at the moment so now's the perfect time to try it!

Eyebrows:
Urban Decay Brow Box - £19.50

I've used a range of products on my eyebrows in the past, and was using a Seventeen brow palette until I received this for Christmas. I am very impressed with this product. It's small and compact but a little goes a long way, and the box includes two shades of powders, a wax, a mini set of tweezers, a mirror, a miniature slanted application brush and miniature flat angled application brush. This set is perfect for on the go and definitely worth the price!

Highlighter:
No 7 80th Anniversary Radiant Shimmer - £12.50

I received this compact as a gift from my boyfriends mum and I am in love. I find myself wearing more and more highlight every day and this is a beautiful gold shimmer colour, that sparkles a multitude of colours when it catches the light. The fact this is a pressed powder makes it so easier to build until you're happy with the degree of glow you have. Such a beautiful, high quality product.

Kiko Radiant Touch Creamy Stick Highlighter - £8.50

What I love about this product is that it's easy and mess free to apply, and looks beautiful above your cupids bow as well as your cheeks. This product is very pigmented with a lot of shimmer, so if like me you love a lotta highlight, this product may be the one for you!

MAC Pigment (Shade - Vanilla) - £16

This is such a versatile product, I received it as part of a gift set last year, and a little really does go far! The product is recommended as an eye shadow pigment but I find this also makes a fantastic highlighter for the cheeks or the brow bone!

Powder:
L'oreal Paris Nude Magique BB Powder - £6.99

This face powder was a stocking filler I received at Christmas, and my mum definitely chose well! This powder is so light, it doesn't cling to dry skin, and it leaves your face feeling soft and free of make up! This product lasts all day, keeping your face matte without any need for re-application. The packaging has now changed to be a circle compact rather than a square like mine, but the product is just the same!

Eyeliner:
Rimmel London ScandalEyes Precision Micro Eye Liner £5.49

This eyeliner is ideal if you're not well practiced at liquid liner, but you love to wear it anyway. This comes out a nice matte black, and lasts all day and night. Brilliant value for money!

Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner - £14.50

I bought this product on a whim when I was out Christmas shopping, as my old liquid liner had come to the end of its (very short!) life. I love wearing liquid liner, its a product I couldn't live without, and although this product cost a little more than I may normally pay, it has lasted so well, and is still as easy to apply as the day I bought it. This is a highly pigmented black and is my joint favourite liquid eyeliner product (ever!), alongside Eyeko's skinny liquid liner.

Max Factor Excess Intensity Longwear Eyeliner - £6.99

Full disclosure here, I actually picked up this product thinking it would be a liquid liner! However, once I discovered my mistake, I was determined to give it a chance and try it out anyway, which turned out to be a great decision! This is self sharpening wind up pencil, with a waterproof and smudge proof formula that lasts all day. It's such a dark black, I love wearing it all around my eye on the waterlines to make my eyes smoulder.

Mascara:
Bourjois Paris Volume Clubbing Ultra Black Mascara - £7.99

I used this mascara for a number of years until suddenly people kept gifting me brand new mascaras for some reason or another over a long period of time. Finally, last month my last mascara ran out, and I had no more back up gifts, so I went into boots and picked up my old favourite. This mascara is ultra black, which I love, it builds volume and length easily without looking cakey and horrible, and it was on offer of buy one get one half price, so I had no reason not to get two! This is a great mascara if you have sparse lashes or if you have any other type of lash, but love a lot of volume and definition.

Blusher:

No 7 Mineral Perfection - DISCONTINUED

When I went to send you the link of where to purchase my favourite blusher, I found it has been discontinued and is unavailable everywhere! However, I can recommend No 7 blushes in general to you as I have tried a few of them and what makes them great to use is how subtle and natural the colours they produce are!

Bronzer:
No 7 Golden Glow for Cheeks - DISCONTINUED

I have had this product for a while and have been using it all up, as I find it difficult to find a bronzer that looks natural with my very pale skin. This is no longer available to purchase, but a great alternative I have found is the No 7 Perfectly Bronzed Dual Bronzer.

Eye Primer:
MAC Pro Longwear Paintpot -  £16

This product is technically an eye shadow colour, but I purchase it in the neutral shade soft ochre, and it works wonders as an eye lid primer. It applies like a creamy base, that is easy to build your eyeshadow colours over, and it lasts all day and night. A little goes a long way, so this product is very good value for money.
Setting Spray:
Make Up Academy Pro-Base Fixing Mist - £5

This is only a very recent addition to my make up routine, I wrote a review about it last week in my latest haul post. Long story short, MAC Fix Plus was sold out everywhere and had been for a while, and I was wanting to try a setting spray, so I purchased this. I absolutely love it, it works wonders for keeping your make up looking fresh all day and is brilliant for helping to build eye shadow colours. Such a great product for such an affordable price, an absolute steal!
Eyeshadow Palettes:
Urban Decay Shadow Box - £23

I received this palette for Christmas, and I use it nearly everyday. It's full of brightly coloured, highly pigmented shadows that are easy to blend and of a high quality. A great product if you love experimenting with brightly coloured eye shadows.
Urban Decay Smokey Palette - £38.50

This palette was another Christmas gift. I put it on my list from Santa as I had been using the Naked 2 palette everyday and knew what great quality products Urban Decay sell. I wanted to get better at smokey eye looks so knew this product was going to be the one for me, and I have used it loads since I received it!

Brushes

Precision Beauty Stippling Brush - £??

MAC 208 Angled Brow Brush - £16.50

Sigma E45 Small Tapered Blending Brush - £10.95

I hope this post has been helpful, and as always I'd love to hear that you think about this post and the products in it! Feel free to leave a comment below or contact me via my details at the top of the page.
